Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle buses, limousines, or other commercial vehicles to transport clients to and from medical facilities, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous customer service and support as needed.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure all equipment is in optimal condition before each shift.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and passenger details while following company policies for documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare staff, and clients to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly.
- Handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility devices or luggage, ensuring safety at all times.
- Follow all safety regulations related to paratransit services, heavy lifting, and commercial driving standards.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in shuttle driving, bus driving, or limousine services is highly preferred.
- Ability to Have or Obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- 5 year Driving Record.
- Proven delivery driver experience or similar roles involving transportation logistics.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting passengers or handling equipment.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations related to commercial driving and paratransit services.
- Experience operating various vehicle types including school buses or <PERSON> drivers is a plus.
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety standards are met.
