Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport clients to scheduled appointments.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with clients, and dispatchers to coordinate schedules and address any special needs or concerns.
• Handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility devices maintaining proper safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure transportation environment.

Experience

• Prior experience as a driver or shuttle driver is preferred; experience with bus driving or school bus driving is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse populations.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (chauffeur's license or CDL's)
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting passengers
