• Safely operate various types of vehicles including shuttle buses, limousines, and paratransit vans to transport clients to scheduled appointments.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, healthcare facilities, and clients to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules efficiently.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks when assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage, adhering to safety protocols.
• Uphold excellent customer service standards by providing friendly, respectful, and professional interactions with all passengers.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar commercial driving roles.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for bus or heavy vehicle).
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
• Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and safety regulations related to paratransit or school bus driving.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle mobility aids or luggage as needed.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to conduct inspections and minor repairs.
