Duties

• Safely operate vehicles to transport clients to scheduled appointments or destinations
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring accessibility for individuals with mobility challenges
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure optimal safety and appearance
• Communicate clearly with clients to confirm pick-up times and destinations, providing friendly customer service throughout each trip
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety features are functioning properly
• Manage route schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
• Handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility devices or luggage as needed

Experience

• Prior shuttle driving or delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with bus driving or limousine services is a plus
• A history of caregiving services is a must.
• Experience in paratransit or heavy lifting tasks that involve assisting passengers with special needs
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure safety standards are met
• Ability to handle multiple routes efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
• Previous school bus or bus driving experience is advantageous but not required

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
