Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting persons to and from medical appointments and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of driving, as well as the ability to operate various types of vehicles. A commitment to safety and professionalism is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate ambulatory vehicles, vans for medical appointments.
• Ensure timely delivery of persons while following designated routes and schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel consumption.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.

Requirements

• Valid NJ driver's license is required.
• Valid CPR/BLS License
• Valid Defensive driving certificate
• Valid PASS (Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity) Cert
• Experience with automatic transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience in paratransit or military driving is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
