Duties

• Safely operate non-emergency medical transportation vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Assist passengers being loaded onto stretcher and disembarking, providing courteous support and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey
• Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of vehicles to ensure optimal safety and performance
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and healthcare providers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times efficiently
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other essential systems
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance needs for reporting purposes

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with no suspension in the last 5 years, Pass a background and drug test. CPR & Frist Aid, driving Defense , Wheelchair & Stretcher securement ( can obtain certifications during training).
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
• Experience with paratransit services or heavy lifting tasks is advantageous
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, empathetic approach
• Ability to follow detailed routes and schedules accurately while maintaining safety standards

Pay: From $100.00 per day
