Duties

• Safely operate vehicles to transport clients to medical facilities, appointments, and community events.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous support and ensuring comfort throughout the journey.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met; report any issues promptly.
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to maintain punctuality.
• Communicate clearly with clients to confirm appointments and provide updates or assistance as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition for reporting purposes.
• Uphold all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure environment for passengers and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with shuttle driving, bus driving, or limousine service is highly preferred.
• Proven delivery driver experience or commercial driving background demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers or handling equipment.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and dispatch personnel.
• Knowledge of paratransit operations and familiarity with transportation regulations is a plus.
• Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety standards are maintained.
