Non Emergency Medical Transportation Driver - Part- Time (M-F)

Non Emergency Medical Transportation Drivers are responsible for Transporting clients to and from appointments, hospital discharges, and other forms of transportation for individuals needing special accommodations.

Hours vary daily from 6AM to 7 PM

Must be available 4 saturdays per year for training

Drivers must be 21 years or older.

Must be able to push a wheelchair with a person in it.

Must be able to bend at the waist and touch the ground repeatedly throughout the day.

Must have a valid drivers license and have a good driving record,

Must pass a background check, drug test and

Must be a reliable candidate for this position.

Must have excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities Include

• Driving clients to and from medical appointments, stores, and work
• Assist with loading and unloading clients from vehicles
• Ensuring proper safety when transporting including ensuring proper securements are used
• Ensuring paperwork is filled out accurately
• Arriving to locations in a timely manner
• Communicating with dispatch and team
• Cleaning and some maintaining of vehicles

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
