Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver

We are specifically looking for drivers with rideshare or delivery driving experience who are comfortable navigating local routes and providing excellent customer service.

Preferred Experience:
Applicants should have previous driving experience with one or more of the following:

• Uber
• Lyft
• Instacart
• Uber Eats
• DoorDash
• Previous Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) experience is highly preferred.

Note: We are currently prioritizing candidates with rideshare, delivery, or transportation driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to maintain a secure environment for passengers and other road users.
• Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate schedules, relay important information, and address any concerns or special needs.
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary to assist passengers with mobility devices or luggage in a respectful manner.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records for compliance and operational efficiency.

Skills

• Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar roles such as limousine or school bus driving.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with diverse clients and team members.
• Knowledge of paratransit services and experience handling specialized transportation needs is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting passengers or managing equipment.
• Excellent driving skills with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or <PERSON> driver certification where applicable.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance routines to ensure ongoing safety and performance.
