Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver

Golders Resources LLC is seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional drivers to join our growing Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team as an independent contractor.

As an NEMT Driver, you will safely transport ambulatory and wheelchair passengers to medical appointments, dialysis treatments, rehabilitation visits, and other healthcare-related destinations throughout the Chicagoland area.

We are looking for individuals who are patient, reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent customer service to our passengers.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport members to and from medical appointments
• Assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles when needed
• Operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles safely and professionally
• Maintain communication with dispatch throughout shifts
• Complete trip documentation accurately
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Ensure a clean and professional vehicle environment

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Driver’s License
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience in NEMT, caregiving, transportation, or healthcare preferred but not required
• Wheelchair securement experience is a plus
