Non-Emergency Transportation Driver

Desert Mountain Health is seeking a Per Diem (as needed) Driver to join our team,

Starting pay - $18/hr + .72/mile reimbursement

Available shift: Per Diem - days & evenings coverage available

A premier treatment provider in the state of Arizona, Desert Mountain Health specializes in medically supervised detox programs to assist people who are suffering from substance abuse and ready to begin recovery. This includes both alcohol and drugs. We’re looking to expand our team and invite you to join our mission to assist those in need and make a meaningful impact!

Responsibilities:

• Transfer clients to and from the facility in your own personal vehicle
• Adhere to all safety and motor vehicle laws
• Assist clients with loading and unloading luggage
• Clean and wipe down the interior, as needed
• Uphold the highest amount of confidentiality and ethics
• Log mileage, and report any issues or maintenance needs for the vehicle
• Book maintenance and detail services to uphold cleanliness and safety

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience as a driver
• A valid driver's license ( held for at least 4 years)
• A clean driving record
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
• Availability to work weekends when needed
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• A High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
