Non-Emergency Transportation Driver

As a Non Emergency Transportation Driver, you will play a key role in supporting independence and mobility. This position offers meaningful work where care and safety are always the priority.

Tasks and Responsibilities

In this role, you will support clients with safe and respectful transportation to essential destinations. You will be responsible for ensuring each ride is smooth, timely, and professional. You will interact directly with clients in a kind and patient manner at every step. Your work will help clients feel secure while traveling to appointments and daily activities. You will also use basic technology tools to support scheduling and navigation.

• You greet clients at their home and safely escort them to and from facilities.
• You transport clients to medical appointments, daycare, grocery stores, and dialysis clinics.
• You operate a company tablet to follow schedules and update trip information.
• You use GPS devices to navigate routes safely and efficiently.
• You assist with multi-loading clients while ensuring comfort and safety at all times.

Required Skills and Knowledge

This role requires safe driving skills and a strong sense of responsibility. You must be comfortable working with elderly and disabled passengers in a respectful way. You should be able to follow instructions and maintain focus throughout the day. Basic technology use is important for completing daily tasks. Reliability and professionalism are essential in this position.

• You hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• You are able to pass a drug screening, SLED background check, and DOT physical.
• You can safely operate a vehicle while following GPS directions.
• You are comfortable using a company tablet for daily trip management.
• You can provide a 10-year driving record from SCDMV when required.
