Non-Emergency Transportation Medical Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Transport Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation services. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort. Must have your own vehicle. This role involves transporting patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring timely arrivals, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of their own vehicle. Prior experience is highly valued but not required. The position requires a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with boarding and disembarking from vehicles, providing support as needed
• Ensure timely pickup and drop-off schedules are maintained for all patients
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of their vehicle, including routine inspections and reporting any issues
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare staff, and dispatchers to coordinate transportation needs
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring patient comfort and addressing any concerns professionally

Skills

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type with no more than 3 infractions in the past 5 years
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and punctuality
• Experience in paratransit services is a plus
• Customer service orientation with a compassionate approach toward patient care
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125.00 per day
