Non-Linear Editor (NLE) – News Channel

Job Description:

VSH News is looking for a skilled and creative Non-Linear Editor (NLE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing news packages, reports, and programs with speed, accuracy, and high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit daily news bulletins, talk shows, and special reports

• Work closely with reporters and producers to meet deadlines

• Add graphics, sound effects, and transitions where required

• Ensure content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with channel standards

• Manage and organize video footage and archives

• Handle urgent editing tasks in a fast-paced newsroom environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in a news channel

• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar

• Strong understanding of news formats and storytelling

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Good sense of timing, visuals, and audio editing

• Team player with good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in broadcast media

• Knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects is a plus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs360,000.00 - Rs420,000.00 per year
