Join our dynamic team as a Non-Profit Client Accounting Manager, where your expertise in bookkeeping and accounting will drive the financial integrity of our nonprofit clients. You will oversee and manage client accounts with precision, ensuring compliance with non-profit and governmental accounting standards while delivering accurate financial reports. Responsibilities
- Manage and perform comprehensive bookkeeping functions for nonprofit clients, including maintaining the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and review financial statements, regulatory reports, and other financial documentation in accordance with GAAP and specific nonprofit standards.
- Oversee cash management processes, including forecasting, cash flow analysis, and bank reconciliations using software in QBO
- Support budgeting activities by analyzing financial data to assist in strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Perform technical accounting tasks related to payroll processing, journal entries, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.
- Interact with Clients providing excellent communication
Skills
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, this is a MUST.
- Proficiency in QBO, QBO Payroll, ADP and QBO plug-ins.
- 5 + years expertise in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, financial analysis, and budget implementaion.
- Solid understanding of cash management strategies including forecasting and cash flow optimization.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger management.
- Strong financial acumen combined with effective communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
