About the role

The Nonprofit Operations & Donor Relations Associate will play a crucial role in managing donor relations and operational functions for a portfolio of US-based nonprofit clients. This position involves maintaining donor databases, drafting communications, tracking fundraising campaigns, and preparing timely reports for internal teams and boards. The associate will act as the frontline steward of donor relationships, ensuring acknowledgments and follow-ups are handled with care and professionalism. By proactively identifying potential risks in donor engagement, the associate helps safeguard vital funding streams. This role contributes directly to the sustainability and growth of mission-driven organizations by strengthening their donor management and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsiblities

• Manage donor databases including data entry, list hygiene, gift recording, and segmentation
• Draft donor acknowledgment letters, stewardship emails, and fundraising appeal copy in professional English
• Track fundraising campaign progress, follow up on pledges, re-engage lapsed donors, and close the loop on donor communications
• Prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports for internal teams and boards
• Coordinate logistics for fundraising events and community campaigns
• Identify and escalate donor relationship risks before they impact engagement or funding
• Collaborate closely with nonprofit leadership and KBCompanies teams to ensure smooth operations and donor satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience working in nonprofit, NGO, INGO, Islamic charity, or community organizations
• Strong understanding of donor culture, including the importance of acknowledgments, stewardship, and reasons donors lapse
• Excellent written English skills with attention to detail and precision in donor communications
• Highly detail-oriented and trustworthy in handling sensitive donor information
• Demonstrated motivation driven by mission rather than just compensation
• Experience working directly with founders, executives, or leadership teams is strongly preferred
• Relevant experience may include coordinating fundraising campaigns, managing volunteer communications, or supporting humanitarian or community relief efforts

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with US nonprofit donor relations standards and practices
• Experience with donor database management software and fundraising tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication

Compensation & Benefits

• Part-time (20 hrs/week): $450–600 USD/month
• Stable monthly USD income with performance review and potential salary increase after 90 days
