Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests’ needs are met promptly and courteously. Previous experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred, along with a background in fine dining or food industry environments. The Server will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS systems
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and resetting tables for new guests
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Address guest inquiries promptly and resolve any concerns to ensure a positive dining experience
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant policies

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; night club experience is advantageous for nightlife venues
• Previous host/host or bussing experience is beneficial but not required
