Job Summary

We are currently hiring for a dedicated 4th grade teacher and a middle school history instructor who are eager to inspire young minds and foster a love for learning. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for 4th grade or middle school history courses.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, participation, and respect.
  • Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and support diverse learning styles.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support individual student needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
  • Incorporate literacy education, math skills, and critical thinking exercises into daily lessons to promote well-rounded learning experiences.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to curriculum development, classroom management, and innovative teaching methods such as Montessori or early childhood education approaches.

Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree
  • Prior classroom experience working with children in elementary or middle school settings is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
  • Experience working with students with autism or other special needs is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
  • Familiarity with teaching physical education, library services, or tutoring programs is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff.

Pay: $38,500.00 - $49,500.00 per year
