Uncle Fats has been serving Tampa for over 35 years! Voted BEST Wings in Temple Terrace. We're a veteran owned and family operated divey-karaoke-sports bar. Casual, not pretentious. Known for our great food, karaoke and friendly service. Our customers are very regular, many have been coming here for years, some as many as 25 years. Our business continues to thrive, with the last 12 months being our best year yet.

We rarely have openings for bartenders so act fast to Join our winning team!

This position is ONLY for experienced bartenders/servers!! If you do NOT have recent bartending history, please do not apply. Must have at least 2 years of experience serving food & bartending in a full liquor bar with knowledge primarily of liquor and beer (10 taps, plus bottles & cans), We offer very limited wine choices.

This position also serves food (Wings, Burgers, Sandwiches, Wraps, Salads, Apps, etc.) so memorizing our food menu is imperative.

This position is for fast paced workers who work well under pressure!! If you can't work at a fast pace, please do not apply. We are a very busy full restaurant/bar in Temple Terrace with MANY regular customers who tip very well. We have Trivia nights, Bingo nights, Karaoke nights, with sports games on Saturdays and Sundays with a very lively atmosphere.

Must be able to produce drinks at a fast level as well as keep a friendly rapport with our guests!! You need to be able to keep up with other bartenders/servers and be able to take direction well from management.

Experience with Simphony POS is a plus but not a requirement. This position is primarily for evenings and weekends, which includes some holidays. Occasional lunch shift as well.

We're open until Midnight Sun-Thurs and 2am Friday & Saturday. This role helps close the bar on some weeknights and weekends.

Pay: $11/hr + generous tips

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
• Able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs. to waist level
• Able to move items up to 20 lbs. for distances of up to 25 feet
• Able to remain standing and active for an 6-8 hour shift.
• Able to tolerate exposure to cold temperatures (below 0° F) throughout the shift.
• Able to hear, understand, and respond to requests in a loud environment
