Are you the type who can mix a killer cocktail or coffee drink and make it look like it belongs on a magazine cover? Do you love fast-paced events, bringing high-energy vibes, and making sure every guest has an unforgettable experience? Sugar On The Rim is expanding, and we’re looking for skilled, detail-oriented bartenders to join our team!

What We’re Looking For:

- Must be NJ-based or able to easily commute to NJ – Our events are primarily in New Jersey, so reliability is key!
- At least one year of bartending experience – We need pros who know their way around a bar.
- 21+ with a valid driver’s license (we’re mobile, and so are you!)
- Bartender Certified, TIPS Certified, or willing to complete certification before your first shift [unless you're a barista looking to take on ONLY coffee events]
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs – You’ll be responsible for assembling and decorating the bar, stocking ice and coolers, and making sure our setup is picture-perfect.
- Type-A personality – You notice the little details that make a big difference.
- Aesthetic-focused – Both our drinks and our bar setup need to be visually stunning!
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment – No two events are the same, and we need bartenders who can keep up!
- Weekend availability – Because that’s when the parties happen!
- Friendly, outgoing, and always serving with a smile – We’re all about good vibes and great service!
BONUS: Love engaging with people? You may have the opportunity to lead our SOTR Mixology Classes!

What You’ll Do:

- Event Setup & Breakdown – You’ll assemble and decorate our signature mobile bar, ensuring it looks stunning before the first drink is even poured.
- Bartending the Entire Event – This isn’t just pouring drinks; it’s about crafting experiences. From shaking up custom cocktails to keeping the energy high and the bar running smoothly, you’ll be at the heart of every event.
- Stock & Organize – Ensure ice, coolers, and all bar essentials are ready to go for seamless service.
- Engage with Guests – Help them pick the perfect drink, keep the vibes fun, and make every event feel special.
- Maintain a Clean & Professional Bar – A well-organized bar is key to a flawless experience!
