Now Hiring: Experienced Dog Walker & Aspiring Trainer (Part-Time, with Full-Time Potential)

Are you passionate about working with dogs and eager to grow your skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment? MindfulPups, a dynamic and high-end dog training facility in Brooklyn, is looking for an experienced dog walker who is also a junior or aspiring trainer to join our team!

About Us:
We specialize in structured day programs, pack walks, group classes, and day training for pet dogs. Our multipurpose facility is committed to providing safe, enriching, and educational experiences for both dogs and their humans.

Role Overview:
This is a part-time position with potential for full-time based on performance and availability. You’ll be responsible for leading pack walks, assisting with training sessions, and helping support our day training and structured daycare services.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with pack walks and handling multiple dogs safely and confidently
• A genuine love for dogs and interest in dog behavior and training
• Eagerness to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced trainers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Punctuality and a positive, team-first attitude are a must!
• Comfort working outdoors and in varied weather conditions
• Availability for morning and afternoon shifts during weekdays (weekend availability is a plus)

Bonus Points For:

• Previous experience in a training or daycare environment
• Knowledge of positive reinforcement and balanced training methods
• CPR/First Aid certification for pets
