Our cafe is hiring EXPERIENCED LINE COOKS

Set schedules! Must have open availability nights and weekends!

- WE ARE NOT JUST A SIMPLE COFFEE SHOP WE ARE A FULL KITCHEN VERY BUSY SCRATCH MADE FOOD OPERATION -

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY A MUST

Responsibilities and duties include, working the line ( grill, sandwich, salad/expo) communicating well with team members on the other stations in order to get the food out at the same time, following instructions given by the chef, ability to follow instructions per health regulations, maintaining and setting up a clean work station so that food can be prepared according to recipes, labeling and stocking all ingredients, ability to work efficiently and keep calm under pressure, knowledge and ability to open and close a kitchen, enthusiasm, excitement, creativity, ability to work well with a team, and great communication skills. Knowing how to work with a team.
Requirements include, proven experience as line Cook including the ability to work a sandwich and grill line, knowledge of expo and the ability to put great looking food out fast and efficiently. Full knowledge and experience in opening and closing a busy kitchen. Experience with prepping foods when it’s slower and restocking items, getting ready for the next rush. knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen, training from a culinary school would be an asset.
