Job Overview

As a key member of our restaurant, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hospitality. Your expertise in food and beverage service, combined with your positive attitude, will help create memorable moments for our guests every day.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk through the door
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, while providing detailed descriptions of menu items to encourage sales and upselling opportunities
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards throughout each shift
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills and tips
• Support food preparation and kitchen operations when needed, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation procedures
• Promote a positive team environment by collaborating with kitchen staff, hosts/hostesses, and other servers to deliver seamless service during busy hours such as nights or weekends

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, especially within fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems including Toast
• Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to handle guest interactions professionally
• Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during high-volume shifts
• Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction processing; experience with food industry operations is preferred
• Knowledge of culinary concepts or kitchen experience is a plus but not required
