We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic team, Specializing in small engines, pump and chemical systems. As well as being able to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of commercial trucks, including Isuzu, Mercedes Vans, Dodge and Chevy models. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Duties

• Willing to drive in the area of vehicle, should it be needed because of a breakdown or malfunction.
• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and air brake systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and HVAC system checks.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues accurately.
• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery for repair or maintenance tasks.
• Fabricate parts or modifications using welding and hand tools to meet specific operational needs.
• Inspect vehicles for safety compliance and perform necessary repairs to ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Maintain detailed service records and logs for all repairs and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• MUST BE PUNTUAL AND ACCOUNTABLE, AS OUR FLEET WILL BE DEPENANT ON YOU.
• Proven mechanic experience with commercial fleet vehicles or dealership backgrounds preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, transmissions, hydraulics, and suspension components.
• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
• Familiarity with schematics, power tools, soldering techniques, welding equipment, and hand tools.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Relevant certifications in automotive repair or heavy equipment operation are highly desirable.
