In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial pools to ensure they are safe, clean, and functioning optimally. Duties

• Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and water balancing to maintain optimal water quality.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment such as filters, pumps, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues early.
• Repair and troubleshoot pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules for each client.
• Communicate clearly with customers about service needs, safety procedures, and maintenance recommendations.
• Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally or as needed.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment at all times.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair or maintenance.
• Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of pool cleaning techniques and water chemistry fundamentals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
