Duties

• Safely operate various vehicles including shuttle buses, school buses, limousines, and specialized transport vans to transport passengers efficiently and securely
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles, including routine inspections and reporting any issues promptly
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe transportation practices
• Communicate effectively with passengers, team members, and dispatchers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns
• Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage as needed
• Ensure accurate documentation of trips, passenger logs, and vehicle maintenance records

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for bus driving) with a clean driving record
• Experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine service preferred
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Knowledge of paratransit services or non-emergency medical transportation is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of the role
• Strong attention to detail in vehicle maintenance checks and safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with passengers, team members, and emergency responders
• Prior experience in commercial driving or school bus operation is highly desirable
