Job Summary
We are actively seeking motivated and dynamic 1099 Case Managers who are eager to take control of their careers by building their own caseloads. This flexible, independent contractor role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families facing behavioral health challenges. As a Case Manager, you will provide essential support, guidance, and resources to clients navigating complex social services systems, including child welfare, addiction recovery, and workforce development programs. Your proactive approach and expertise will empower clients to achieve stability and growth while allowing you to customize your workload and schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage your own client caseload by actively recruiting and engaging individuals in need of behavioral health, social work, or supportive services.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs related to crisis intervention, addiction counseling, child welfare, or Medicare services.
  • Deliver tailored case management services utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to foster client motivation and progress.
  • Coordinate with community resources such as Section 8 housing, workforce development programs, childcare providers, and mental health agencies to facilitate client access to necessary services.
  • Provide crisis management support during urgent situations, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients experiencing behavioral health crises or other emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, service plans, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with program standards.
  • Supervise or mentor junior staff or interns when applicable, sharing expertise in social work practices and crisis intervention strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, addiction counseling, or social work settings.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources including Section 8 housing, child welfare systems, Medicare programs, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Skilled in motivational interviewing techniques to effectively engage clients and promote positive change.
  • Demonstrated crisis management abilities with a focus on safety planning and de-escalation strategies.
  • Supervising experience or mentoring skills are preferred for leadership roles within the team.
