Job Summary
The NP/PA Fellowship in Neurosurgery and Pain Management at Musculoskeletal MSO is an intensive 24-month program designed for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to deepen their clinical expertise and gain hands-on experience in neurosurgery and pain management. This fellowship offers a comprehensive, immersive experience where fellows will work alongside experienced physicians, participate in surgical procedures, and provide care in both outpatient and hospital settings. Fellows will also engage in didactic training, case studies, and clinical rotations across multiple specialties, enhancing their skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. The program is structured to ensure professional growth through mentorship and exposure to real-world clinical and surgical cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in neurosurgical procedures and first-assist roles in the operating room.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide follow-up care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Participate in clinical rotations in neurosurgery, pain management, and internal medicine.
• Attend didactic sessions, case studies, and clinical discussions for continuous learning.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop patient care plans and contribute to multidisciplinary care.

Qualifications:

• Active NP/PA license with clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong interest in neurosurgery, pain management, and internal medicine.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
• Commitment to a 24-month full-time fellowship program.
