The DAV Group - Chennai, functioning under the aegis of Tamil Nadu Arya Samaj Educational Society was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students. The Group today, caters to over 40,000 students across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. It has a staff of 1500 plus which includes 1,200 teachers. Four of our branches have been consistently ranked amongst top 15 schools in the country.

In addition to K-12 schooling, DAV has recently ventured into Higher Education with DAV-SMK Fomra College of Arts & Science at Kelambakkam, Chennai.

In this context, we would be interested in recruiting suitable candidates for the position of NTT Nursery teacher for the DAV Rrase School, Padappai.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Structures a developmentally appropriate educational experience in the classroom using methods such as storytelling, games, and activities.
• Monitors students progress throughout the year and evaluates preparedness for kindergarten.
• Communicates all progress and concerns with tact and professionalism to parents and the director.
• Builds and maintains positive relationships with parents.
• Enforces safety and security standards for children, staff, and visitors.
• Maintains knowledge of research, developments, and best practices in early childhood education.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) certification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in teaching nursery-aged children is preferred.
• Possess outstanding ability to work in a team using and implementing own initiatives. Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Salary shall commensurate with Experience.
