JOB RELATIONSHIPS
- Responsible to: Radiology/Imaging Manager and Division Director
DEFINITION OF POSITION
- Responsible for preparing, measuring and administering radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies. Responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements. Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional
  - High school graduate and graduate from approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in nuclear medicine.
  - Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or NMTCB registered in nuclear medicine.
  - Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel and other Window application skills.
  - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  - Maintains current BLS/CPR credentials with an AHA program.
