- Assist the nuclear medicine consultant in conducting and reporting procedures such as PET-CT, SPECT, bone scan, thyroid scan, renal scans, etc.
- Take a detailed patient history and ensure proper clinical evaluation before procedures.
- Verify patient identity, consent forms, and necessary investigations prior to radioisotope administration.
- Calculate and administer radiopharmaceutical doses under supervision as per safety protocols.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures for any adverse reactions.
- Maintain radiation safety standards as per AERB guidelines and hospital policies.
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures, isotope usage, and patient records.
- Coordinate with radiographers, technologists, nursing staff, and other departments.
- Provide emergency management in case of reactions or complications.
- Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and departmental audits.
