Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will accomplish one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. You will perform tests on in-patients and out-patients utilizing a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment. What you will do in this role:

• You will perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• You will receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses and maintain radiation records.
• You will perform all tasks expected in rotation of hot lab area.
• You will utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment.
• You will perform all related duties such as; scheduling, charging exams, etc.
• You will take emergency after hours call on rotating basis.

What qualifications you will need:

• 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-R)(N) Radiography
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree - Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear school of medicine or Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.
