Nuclear Quality Assurance Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nuclear Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality Assurance program for soils and concrete testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, including NQA-1, ANSI N45, and other standards. This role requires a proactive approach to quality management, focusing on continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures in accordance with NQA-1, ANSI N45, our Quality Manual, and other relevant standards.
• Conduct regular surveillance to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Oversee quality control processes, including quality inspection and testing of products throughout the testing process.
• Initiate corrective action requests and ensure corrections are made.
• Manage the documentation of quality management systems and ensure proper record-keeping practices are followed.
• Lead training sessions for staff on quality assurance practices and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize analysis skills to assess data from quality inspections and audits to drive improvements in testing quality.
• Coordinate project management activities related to quality initiatives, ensuring timely completion of objectives.

Experience

• Proven experience in a Nuclear Quality Assurance role.
• Strong knowledge of NQA-1 and ANSI N45.2
• Experience with quality audits, quality control processes, and quality inspection methodologies is critical.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in assessing compliance and identifying areas for improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
