Position Overview

AIMS Institutes is seeking a qualified and compassionate Nurse to manage the institute’s health services and provide primary medical care to students, staff, and visitors. The Nurse will be responsible for first aid, health monitoring, medical record maintenance, and coordination with hospitals during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and basic nursing care to students and staff.
• Assess health conditions and offer appropriate care or referrals.
• Maintain medical records, health registers, and incident reports.
• Monitor and manage the campus medical room/clinic.
• Assist in handling medical emergencies and coordinate with nearby hospitals.
• Administer prescribed medications as advised by the Medical Officer.
• Conduct regular health check-ups and wellness awareness programs.
• Ensure availability and proper maintenance of medicines, first-aid kits, and medical equipment.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and infection-control standards in the medical room.
• Support institutional health initiatives, medical camps, and statutory health requirements.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing (GNM / B.Sc Nursing).
• Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience (experience in educational institutions preferred).
• Basic knowledge of emergency care and first aid procedures.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm, empathetic, and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to handle medical emergencies efficiently.
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Basic computer knowledge for maintaining medical records.
  
  

Working Conditions

• Full-time position.
• 6 days working as per institute norms.
• On-campus duty during institute working hours.
