Role Summary
The Nurse Assistant & Receptionist will serve as both the first point of contact for patients at the front desk and a support staff member in clinical care. This dual role requires balancing administrative duties such as scheduling, registration, and billing, with patient care tasks like vitals monitoring, assisting during consultations, and ensuring a safe and clean clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Administration
- Greet and guide patients/visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Register new patients and update existing patient records in the clinic management system.
- Manage appointment calendars for doctors, therapists, and specialists; optimize scheduling to reduce wait times.
- Handle phone calls, WhatsApp inquiries; provide information about clinic services, timings, and doctors’ availability.
- Coordinate patient flow – direct patients to consultation rooms, keep track of waiting order, and inform doctors about the next patient.
- Collect consultation fees, process payments (cash, card, UPI), and issue receipts; reconcile daily cash and prepare payment reports.
- Maintain and organize patient files, forms, and consent documentation for easy retrieval.
- Track and confirm follow-up appointments, lab test results, and prescription refills.
- Manage front desk supplies (stationery, forms, printer cartridges) and keep them stocked.
Patient Care & Clinical Assistance
- Record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP, SpO₂) and prepare patients for consultations.
- Assist doctors during examinations, minor procedures, and patient preparation.
- Provide pre- and post-consultation guidance to patients (e.g., where to collect lab reports, pharmacy instructions).
- Perform basic wound dressing, bandage changes, or assist in minor procedures when required.
- Maintain medical equipment readiness (BP apparatus, thermometers, pulse oximeters, nebulizers, etc.).
- Prepare and restock consultation rooms with required consumables.
- Support infection control protocols — sanitizing patient areas, equipment, and waiting zones regularly.
- Provide emotional reassurance to patients, especially children, elderly, and anxious individuals.
- Escort patients (elderly/disabled) within the clinic when needed.
- Handle patient concerns politely and escalate complex issues to management.
- Support clinic operations, events, or health camps as assigned.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
