Schedule - 32 hours per week, with rotating Saturdays

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs at a subject matter expert level on all nursing duties.
  • Supports and maintains the policies, procedures and regulations of the practice.
  • Assists in recruiting, provides training, orientation of staff, and maintains accurate staff training and competency logs including records of nursing staff licensure, CPR certifications.
  • Creates and monitors staff schedules in accordance to the needs of the practice.
  • Monitors patient schedules for accuracy and works collaboratively with front office team to correct errors.
  • Works cooperatively with the office staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Is fully versed in EMR and digital health workflows and initiatives and stays abreast of changes and updates to provide staff the most accurate coaching and training.
  • Orders supplies and equipment, trains staff to maintain accurate PAR levels and assists the Practice Manager in arranging repair and maintenance of equipment; maintains inventory logs.
  • Communicates with the Practice Manager on the status of clinic operations and staff performance.
  • Models and supports PediaTrust Core Values and coaches others to do the same.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides coaching and training for clinical problem-solving.
  • Meets with vendors and non-PediaTrust representatives at the direction of the Practice Manager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to train and monitor staff to provide assistance and support to the clinical team
  • An understanding of the electronic medical record including scheduling, data entry and charting functions
  • An ability to problem-solve effectively including data collection, consensus building, communication and implementation of the solution

Required Length & Type of Experience:

  • 2 years of nursing experience
  • Ambulatory setting

Required Certification, Licenses, Registration:

  • Current Illinois RN Nursing License
  • CPR Certified
