Job Overview:

We are seeking a Female Nurse to join our dedicated team at Cancel Cancer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, assisting in chemotherapy administration, offering patient counseling, and supporting post-treatment care. This is a full-time position based at our healthcare center in Pitampura, Delhi. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, skilled, and willing to work in an oncology-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Oncology Nursing Care:

o Administer chemotherapy and other related treatments as per prescribed protocols.

o Monitor patients during chemotherapy and treatment sessions, ensuring their comfort and safety.

o Provide necessary support and assistance during the administration of medications.

•⁠ ⁠Patient Counseling and Support:

o Offer pre-treatment counseling to help patients understand their treatment plans, side effects, and expected outcomes.

o Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.

o Educate patients on managing side effects and improving quality of life during and post-treatment.

•⁠ ⁠Clinical Assistance:

o Take patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.) and report any changes to the doctor.

o Maintain accurate medical records and patient charts.

o Assist doctors in routine checkups and clinical procedures.

•⁠ ⁠Post-Treatment Care:

o Monitor and guide patients in post-treatment recovery.

o Provide instructions for at-home care and follow-up appointments.

o Coordinate with medical staff for follow-up care and testing as required.

•⁠ ⁠Professionalism and Compliance:

o Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and patient care are followed.

o Adhere to all hospital and clinic protocols, including infection control guidelines.

o Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements:

•⁠ ⁠Educational Qualifications:

o Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized institution.

•⁠ ⁠Experience:

o 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a healthcare or oncology setting.

o Experience in administering chemotherapy and working with cancer patients will be an added advantage.

•⁠ ⁠Skills and Competencies:

o Good communication and interpersonal skills.

o Empathy and compassion for patients.

o Strong understanding of oncology treatments and patient care needs.

o Ability to handle stressful situations and provide emotional support to patients and families.

o Knowledge of medical equipment and nursing procedures.

o Ability to work in a team and maintain a collaborative environment.

•⁠ ⁠Language Proficiency:

o Proficiency in English and Hindi is a must.
