he Nurse In-Charge is responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating daily clinical operations, and ensuring high standards of patient care within the assigned department/unit. The role includes leadership, staff management, patient safety, and compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
- Assign duties and monitor nursing workflow
- Handle patient care issues and emergency situations
- Ensure proper documentation and nursing records maintenance
- Monitor infection control and patient safety practices
- Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Assist in staff training, mentoring, and performance monitoring
- Maintain adequate supplies and equipment availability
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Master’s Degree in Nursing/Healthcare Management or related field
- Valid nursing license/registration
For Bahrain, licensing may involve the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA).
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
