Location: Savannah, GA | Employment Type: Full-Time | Schedule: Days, Monday – Friday – No Weekends

Compensation

• Salary: Up to $122,000 (Based on experience)

• Schedule: Monday – Friday (Days)

• Sign-On & Relocation: Available on a case-by-case basis

Job Summary

The Mother/Baby Nurse Manager is responsible for the strategic and daily operational success of the unit. You will serve as a vital link between leadership and frontline staff, driving policies that prioritize patient safety and clinical excellence during the critical postpartum period.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Plan, organize, and staff the unit to ensure 24/7 operational effectiveness.

• Policy Development: Collaborate on evidence-based plans and procedures to streamline quality care.

• Team Management: Provide direct supervision and mentorship to a tenured nursing staff, fostering a culture of respect and accountability.

• Resource Management: Oversee budgeting, staffing levels, and performance evaluations to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) required; Master’s preferred

• Licensure: Current Georgia RN License or Compact/Multi-State License

• Experience:

  • 3+ years recent RN experience in Women’s Services (Postpartum/Mother-Baby) in acute care

  • 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience

  • Proven ability to manage experienced nursing teams

• Certifications:

  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – must be obtained within 6 months if not currently held
