Nurse PA with Aesthetic capabilities

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with Aesthetic capabilities to join our innovative healthcare team. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to determine suitability for aesthetic procedures and general health management
  • Administer injections such as botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques
  • Perform a variety of aesthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, and other non-invasive cosmetic procedures to enhance patient appearance and satisfaction
  • Manage acute pain and provide post-procedure care, including discharge planning and follow-up consultations
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation, data collection, and medical records management
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists in hospital or outpatient settings to coordinate care for complex cases involving critical care, ICU, or emergency medicine scenarios
  • Engage in clinical research or clinical trials related to aesthetic medicine or advanced healthcare practices to stay at the forefront of industry innovations

Requirements

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in aesthetics preferred; must be eligible for licensure in the state of practice
  • Demonstrated experience with injection administration, dermal fillers, Botox treatments, laser therapy, and other esthetic laser treatments
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner; experience with telehealth platforms is a plus
  • Prior hospital experience in critical care (ICU), emergency room (ER), or Level I/II trauma centers strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with medical procedures including suturing, phlebotomy, IV infusion, airway management, and ventilator support
  • Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), HIPAA compliance, and discharge planning processes
  • Excellent patient assessment skills along with the ability to manage acute pain cases effectively
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques necessary for safe practice in outpatient or hospital settings
