Nurse Practioner/Physcian Assistant - Wound Care

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician

Assistant to join our mobile wound care team. This position involves traveling to provide advanced wound care management including assessment, treatment, and

follow-up care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of wound etiology, stage, and other relevant conditions.
• Develop and implement wound management plans based on current standards of practice and evidencebased research.
• Apply appropriate wound dressings and perform necessary procedures such

as debridement, applying compression wraps, initiating negative pressure wound therapy, and Human Cellular and/or Tissue Based Products.

• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Provide telehealth consultations as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving to and from

patient locations.

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of

Michigan.

• Certification in wound care preferred (e.g., CWCN, CWS, or CWCA).
• At least 2 years of experience in wound care, dermatology, or related field.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable with technology including electronic medical records and

mobile communication tools.

Pay: $544.25 - $605.74 per day
