Nurse Practitioner- 12 Hour shifts rotating clinics in Southeast Michigan (1-2 Shifts a month)

Corazon Imaging has an ambitious vision: to bring world-class, affordable cardiac imaging to all Michiganders. FFR-CT usage is limited in Michigan. and we are making this technology accessible statewide, giving patients and providers in a wholly underserved state the resources needed to address heart disease and reduce healthcare costs by 30-50%.

Corazon Imaging is Mobile CT imaging, focused on doing CCTA outpatient at multiple clinics across Southeast Michigan. Currently we have locations in Berkley, Dearborn, Madison Heights, Sterling Heights, Trenton, Livonia, Waterford, Macomb, St. Claire Shores. We will work with you on best site to cover open shifts.

Duties:

-Patient Screening scheduled for Contrast CT exams including Coronary CTA studies.

-Patient prep prior to Coronary CTA studies, ensuring patient Heart Rae at target or below 60bpm by administering Beta Blockers (Oral or IV ).

-Monitor patients vital pre and post Coronary CTA EXAMS. Start patient IV's
- Provide primary care services to patients, including diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries
- Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, work closely with Dr.John Rumberger Medical Director of Cardiac Imaging.
- Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and treatment options
- Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record system
- Assist in the management of patient flow in the clinic, including triaging patients and managing urgent care needs
- Participate in utilization management activities to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources

Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Michigan
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a primary care setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Ability to lift and transport patients as needed
