Nurse Practitioner

A Better Weigh Medical Weight Loss Center is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and hardworking individual.

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our location in Schererville, Indiana.

Must love motivating, educating, and encouraging people who are trying to lose and maintain their weight.

Duties include:

• Prescribing FDA approved medications and weight loss supplements, and provide diet, and exercise recommendations and counseling.
• Conduct physical assessments, order review laboratory studies.
• Emphasizing wellness, disease prevention, and patient education by reviewing and monitoring patient’s progress.
• Making a commitment to providing individualized care and supporting patients in making healthier lifestyle choices.

Skills Include:

• Excellent & Strong Communication – verbal and non-verbal
• Bilingual a Plus (not required)
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Team spirit with a positive attitude
• Great work ethics

The ideal candidate will have a valid IN State RN/APRN License and current DEA License.
(Dual State license in IL/IN preferred but not required.)

Job Types: Part-time

Benefits: Flexible Schedule

Availability: Monday – Friday and some weekends.
