Nurse Practitioner

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner who has Pain Management experience. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our pain clinic. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments, innovative treatment plans, and collaborative care coordination. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, geriatrics, and individuals with complex medical needs.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine diagnosis and treatment options.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and emergency medicine.
  • Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to safety protocols; perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, and spinal taps.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Tebra for documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical records management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans and coordinate patient discharge or transfer processes.
  • Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care for remote or underserved populations.
  • Engage in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to advance evidence-based practices within the organization.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance strategies including nutrition counseling, medication management, and disease prevention techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of infection control and sterile technique during procedures.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in diverse clinical environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic.
  • Critical care experience is a plus but not required.
  • Background in managing complex cases involving acute pain management.
  • Skilled in performing diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory testing (including phlebotomy), sonography, medical imaging interpretation, and specimen processing.
  • Excellent communication skills for triage calls, patient education sessions—including health coaching—and case management activities across diverse populations. Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
