Position Overview

The NP/PA will perform standardized health assessments for Medicare and Commercial patient populations. This position emphasizes autonomy, consistency, and work-life balance —prescribing, diagnosing, treatment, or follow-up required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient health assessments, including reviewing past medical history, reviewing imaging and prescriptions, and new concerns.
• Complete a of 20 patient assessments per day.
• In an eight-hour day the average is four patients per hour if seeing follow up visits.
• New patient consults are scheduled in thirty-minute intervals with an estimate of three to four in the morning and three in the afternoon, based on the clinic needs.
• Collaborate with scheduling staff and other team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Manage documentation efficiently using Microsoft Word and electronic systems.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Texas.
• Board Certification required.
• Experience in pain management, internal medicine, family practice, geriatrics, or related specialties preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and electronic documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Must be able to commute within the San Antonio metro area.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
