We are seeking a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pulmonary / Critical Care team providing inpatient intensivist services in Northeast Florida.

This position offers a 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM), providing an excellent work-life balance while practicing high-acuity medicine in a collaborative ICU environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients in the ICU setting
• Perform daily rounds, admissions, and consults
• Assist with ventilator management and critical care protocols
• Central lines
• Arterial lines
• Intubation (if applicable)
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Communicate with patients and families regarding care plans

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited NP or PA program
• Active Florida license (or eligible)
• ICU, pulmonary, or hospitalist experience preferred
• New graduates with strong ICU RN background may be considered
• Strong clinical decision-making and teamwork skills
