Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations, patient assessments, and diagnostic evaluations to determine health status and treatment needs.
  • Manage acute pain, perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and IV insertions with precision and sterile technique.
  • Administer medications, injections, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and other therapies aligned with best practices and patient safety standards.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner to document medical records accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while maintaining high-quality patient interactions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital medicine, critical care units (ICU/PICU), emergency rooms, outpatient clinics, or assisted living facilities.
  • Engage in clinical research projects or quality improvement initiatives to advance evidence-based practices within the organization.

Requirements

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in advanced practice nursing.
  • Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital settings, emergency medicine, ICU/CCU, or outpatient clinics.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (including ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with procedures like sonography, spinal taps, gastroscopic evaluations, or airway management is highly desirable.
  • Critical care experience or Level I/II trauma center background preferred; familiarity with infectious disease care and hospice & palliative medicine is a plus.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to perform physical examinations and diagnostic assessments confidently.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including pediatrics (working with children), geriatrics (memory/dementia care), individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication skills for triage situations, health coaching, discharge planning, case management and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Join us in transforming healthcare delivery by providing compassionate expertise across a broad spectrum of patient needs!

Pay: $128,722.20 - $155,020.28 per year
