Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in Staunton, VA. You will be responsible for managing patient health through advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Job Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Assessment: Perform detailed medical assessments and physical exams.
• Clinical Review: Evaluate and review patient medical histories to guide care.
• Diagnostics: Order and interpret diagnostic tests (imaging, labs, etc.) to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Independent Decision Making: Exercise strong clinical judgment and work independently to manage patient outcomes.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough electronic medical records (EMR) in strict compliance with regulatory and clinic guidelines.

Education & Licensing Requirements

• Licensure: Must have completed NP licensure and hold an active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license.
• Prescriptive Authority: Active prescriptive authority is required.
• Certifications: Current CPR Certification required.
• Experience: Previous experience or a strong desire for autonomous practice is highly preferred.

Ability to Commute/Relocate

• Staunton, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
