Nurse Practitioner

• Diagnosing and treating health conditions: Diagnosing a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses and injuries, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and infections.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests: Ordering lab work, X-rays, and other imaging or procedures, and analyzing the results to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Prescribing medications and treatments: Prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, with prescriptive authority varying by state law.
• Managing patient care: Developing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient care plans, and coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Providing education and counseling: Educating patients and their families on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and managing their illnesses or injuries.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
