Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and specialized care environments. Your expertise will support comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of patients’ health needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a broad patient population, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with complex medical conditions, utilizing your extensive clinical skills to improve health outcomes and enhance patient experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and detailed patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical issues.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions using advanced clinical skills, including medication administration, IV infusion therapy, suturing, and wound care.
  • Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform specialized procedures such as spinal taps, catheterizations, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, and sonography when applicable.
  • Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while maintaining high standards of patient engagement and safety.
  • Educate patients on health coaching topics including nutrition, disease management, medication adherence, and preventive care strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical documentation for legal and billing purposes using CPT coding standards.

Qualifications

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in your practicing state.
  • Proven experience in diverse clinical settings such as emergency medicine, hospital medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), or outpatient clinics.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and utilization review processes.
  • Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Athenahealth for efficient documentation and patient management.
  • Skilled in performing procedures including venipuncture, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, airway management, and basic life support (BLS).
  • Experience working with special populations such as pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), geriatrics (memory care/dementia care), hospice & palliative medicine or assisted living environments preferred.
  • Critical care experience in settings like Level I or Level II trauma centers or PICU is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams across specialties such as gastroenterology, infectious disease care, behavioral health, occupational health, or post-acute care.

Pay: $80.00 - $110.00 per hour
